FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

In Zen, we don't find the answers
we lose the questions.

But this is Psi Zen,
so, here we go.

“Lao Tzu wrote in Tao Te Ching:
-Those who know, do not speak
Those who speak, do not know-
Yet, he said that.”

Psi ZEN faq

* What is Psi Zen?

Psi Zen is a spiritual path that blends modern psychology, Zen Buddhism, and Taoism. It guides you back to your real self and to experiencing reality as is.

* How do I know if Psi Zen is suitable for me?

Psi Zen helps you meet your true self. This takes courage, as you will face things as they are. If you feel ready, Psi Zen will walk with you.

* Do I need to know about Zen?

No, you don’t need to know more than what you already know. In fact, nobody really knows about Zen. It is not something to be known, but to be noticed in your personal experience.

* Will I become a Zen Buddhist?

No. Although Psi Zen offers a spiritual path, it does not convert you to Buddhism. It uses Zen principles to understand human psychology and provides a framework to calibrate your perspective.

* I have religious concerns – will Psi Zen affect my religious beliefs and practices?

No. Psi Zen does not aim to influence or change your religious beliefs or practices. However, it may have the side effect of making your faith and belief stronger than before.

A monk asked: “What is the ultimate word?”
Master coughed.
The monk said: “That's it, isn't it?”
Master sighed: “They don't even let me cough.”

ZEN THERAPY FAQ

* What is Zen Therapy?

Zen Therapy is the spiritual therapy method of Psi Zen. It helps you discover your self-concept, let go of your self-attachment, and learn to live in harmony with your own nature of being.

* How does Zen Therapy work?

In Zen Therapy sessions, we look directly at how you experience the world. By pointing right at your mind, you begin noticing your own nature with a series of “A-ha!” moments.

* How many forms of Zen Therapy exist?

There are four formats: Personal, Group, Relationship, and Organizational. Each addresses a different social setting to integrate Zen Therapy into daily life.

* Is it the same with psychotherapy?

No, Psi Zen is not psychotherapy. In Zen, we lose the questions rather than search for answers. Zen Therapy invites you accept things directly as they are.

* How long would it take?

There is no fixed timeline. As Alan Watts once told: “But when this artist, Hasegawa, was asked, how does one see into Zen? He said: It may take you three seconds, it may take you thirty years. I mean that. "
